ABOUT THE AUTHOR

By the time she was eight years old, Cat Robson had travelled all over the U.S. by car and train three times, journal in hand.  She let her parents drive.  By the time she was twenty with a literature degree in her pocket, she had studied in England, travelled throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, and discovered she wanted to be a writer.

To that end, her motley professional history as an office temp, sculptor, film editor, proofreader, book promoter, counselor to gang members, student of Depth Psychology and entrepreneur, has proven to be as great an asset as a checkered past.

From an author weaned on classic cinema and hardboiled detective fiction, The Mocambo Affair and its sequel Chamber of Liars, swing with the glamour and music of the Golden Age of Hollywood.

A dystopian novel, The Salamandrine Fires, and Keeping Mum, a novel of the supernatural, are in the works.
